This is fantastic little oasis if you fancy walking around Little Five Points in Atlanta. It is quite "open" inside and has a look and feel of a small warehouse about it. There is a stage in the back, as this place is apparently a jazz bar on Fri/Sat night (so said the girl tending the bar). My wife and I were the only ones there at about 1pm on a Wed., except for a guy sitting at the end of the bar, but I imagine this place is pretty packed on a Fri or Sat night. They had only two things on tap (Red Hook IPA and a hefeweizen I had never heard of) but they had a ton of stuff you could purchase by the bottle including all the North Coasts (Rasputin, PranQster, Old Stock, etc), about 8 good Belgians (incl. Duvel), some Unibroue, plenty of assorted Germans, and several (6 - 8) micros I have never heard of. The service was pretty good and everyone working there with whom I spoke was very friendly. The food (primarily deli - style sandwiches) was fantastic!! I had a fat smoked turkey sandwich they called "the smoke screen" with some tortilla chips and a Red Hook IPA on tap. Delicious! My wife had a toasted chicken cordon bleu and a big bowl of soup, and our bill was $19. Again, a nice little oasis and a great value. I'll go back, certainly!
