Okay, I'm not exactly sure how to rate this. If we are rating this against all Mississippi beer bars then this is about as good as it gets. If we are rating this against all beer bars in the southeast then this one sucks in all categories. If we are rating this against all beer bars period then stay away from the beer black hole that surrounds this pour excuse for a "beer" establishment.
All of the above being said I sat down to have a few wings and a Sam Adam's Boston Lager. Fresh taste and served in a 16 oz pint glass. Service was shotty at best. The highlight of this evening was leaving. If you are traveling through Mississippi it's best to keep your trip short and sweet. If you want good beer go to Atlanta or New Orleans don't go to Mississippi or Alabama.
Final note: good wings, bad service, average beer at best

For the beer wasteland that is Jackson, this is an oasis. It has about 40 beers on tap both micros and macros. The bottle beer selection is also at least as good as par for MS The atmosphere is fun but it is a bit loud as it is a sports/wing bar. The bartenders arent necessarily knowledgeable about the beers, but it is a high energy place and wouldnt be their focus. The service is friendly but perhaps a bit slow. There are always beer specials when I went it was Shiner Bock. The food is very good for a bar with that selection and value is good/avg.

Between my last visit to BWW and my most recent visit (probably a couple of years), they'd added about 20 more taps to give them 40 total. They carry all of Lazy Magnolia's year-round beers, some Stella, Rogue, Weihenstephaner, etc. I'd say that 75% of the taps are non-macro.
Not a bad atmosphere, but can get crowded on weekends and needs more parking. And the law is thick around the place, as it's close to the Reservoir. Not to mention that since they're in Ridgeland (Madison county), they close at midnight.
But, if you want a good selection of draft beer, BWW is a great choice. And, of course, their wings rule.
