This is a college student oriented Irish pub but not a great beer destination. Atmosphere is okay. It looks like its always St. Patrick's Day in here. The beer quality is okay. The selection is lacking. They have about a dozen taps with about half BMC and the others are Boulevard, New Belgium, Bass, Guinness, Harp and Newcastle. Bottle lineup is similar - lots of BMC and common English/Irish brews with a handful of Missouri craft offerings. Service is its best quality. They are prompt, friendly and helpful. The food is decent. Typical bar food with a few Irish-style items. There are some good beer values like $2 pints of Fat Tire and Sunshine Wheat on Tuesdays, $2 Boulevard Wheat on Saturday and $3 Guinness or Harp on Wednesday. If you're looking for craft beer you can skip it. If you're looking to drink cheap New Belgium and Boulevard with some friends, it'll work.

A neat Irish themed bar. They have a fun crowd, service, and nightly specials. The servers are quick to refill or get you another beer, and friendly in the process. Lots of tv's, pool table, darts. They are connected to a pizza joint which is another big draw. The selection isn't real varied, numbers in the teen's. Lots of beer memorabilia all over the place. The prices aren't high at all, and with the specials you can drink the night away for a cheap price. Overall, a fun place to go with a group of friends and enjoy an easy drinking atmosphere.

McNally's is one of the most popular after work bars in Columbia. Most of this is due to Kenny, the Bartender. Kenny has been a bar tender in Columbia for years and when a local favorite, "Wydman's" closed Kenny brought his clientele along with him to McNally's.

The crowd is really the best mix of folks I have seen in my 2+ years living here in Columbia.

There is a regular happy hour crowd which incudes anyone from local landscaping contractors, Lawyers, University professors and many students of the University of Missouri.

More than one local publication has named Kenny the best bartender in Columbia. I am lucky to call many bartenders here in Columbia friends of mine and even those who do not work at McNally's say Kenny is the best.

If cocktails are your game, Kenny and Seth, the other bartender there, have never been accused of a short pour.

For beer, their happy hour, Mon-Fri 4-7PM has domesric pints, including Killian's for $1 a pint.

Every night has a different special, inculding Micros and imports, Tuesday has two dollar pints of Fat Tire and Sunshine Wheat, Wednesdays have $3 pints of Guinness, Bass and Black and Tans. Thursday has "Big Blarneys(23 Oz Beers in Plastic Cups)" of Killians for $2. Fridays have $5 Pitchers of Killian's and Saturdays have $2 pints of Boulevard.

Overall they have 18 bottles and 17 taps though many of the taps are duplicates.

They incude Harp, Bass, Guinness, Newcastle, Blvd Wheat, Fat Tire and Sunshine Wheat among others.

Though the selection may not match up with other local beer bars, the staff makes up for it in spades. Two of the best bartenders in Columbia plus an attractive wait staff that serve some of the best Pizza in Columbia, second only to Shakespere's, another great spot on 9th street. Recently John, the owner of McNally's, bought Wise Guy's Pizza and incorparated its kitchen into McNally's, beyond Pizza they have some great pub grub to boot. I recommend the Guinness Cheese Dip & chips.

Right in Downtown on 6th and Broadway, McNally's is a can't miss spot.
