I love this bar because it's not your typical Greenpointe/Williamsburg bar. It is more of a biker bar than a hipster bar. There is a great are to shoot pool with some really good pool players. A nice, spacious outdoors. Kind of dingy inside, but that is part of the appeal.
The beer selection isn't great, but again, this is more a place to go and sit back and have a brew with blue collar people instead of yuppies.
Also, for the ridiculously low price of $5, you can get all you can eat hotdogs and hamburgers. It takes a while to get it (since they don't really have a kitchen) but you really can't beat that price.

This bar, which opened in January 2006, is a restored 80 year old bar which has a comfortable feel, lots of dark wood, a nice, small backyard and they have started with 12 drafts, micros and some imports, not a beer geek selection, but some good choices, and among the bottles is such interesting stuff as Westmalle Tripel, Maudite, Fin du Monde and Aventinus. It's also very welcoming to my dogs, which is certainly a plus. It remains to be seen whether the selection will get more adventurous, but worth keeping an eye on.
