Clear gold color with a modest white head that recedes to just a ring quickly.
The aroma is light malt with ginger and citrus.
The taste is ginger with a bit of orange or tangerine and light malt in the background, slightly sweet with some grassy hops in the finish.
The body is light, moderate carbonation, fairly smooth and drinkable.
Altogether, this is a decent warm weather cooler. The ginger seemed a bit odd at first in a pale ale, but it is refreshing. Best served very cold. A nice light summer brew.

Poured from a can. Golden in color with a small head. Smells of ginger, and old candy. Flavor profile is very strange, with the old candy and ginger in the forefront and maybe orange and grass on the back. This beer just doesn't work for me. Very odd and would not have another

5/16/2019 I love this beer. Tastes almost like a ginger beer without the sugar. Meaning that for a beer it's a little but not excessively on the sweet side. I've had much sweeter porters and stouts for example. I would say its mildly sweet. But compared to a ginger beer which is basically a soft drink it's not sweet at all. It's a lighter ale that I could drink all day with a strong ginger flavor. Very refreshing. For me and what I like it's a perfect warm weather beer. Had it in a chilled glass from the tap in Kansas City. If this beer were not discontinued, I would be bugging my local liquor store to stock it. Oh the humanity!

Look: clear, golden yellow with a light foamy head
Smell: Sweet, butterscotch, pineapple
Taste: Quite sweet, creamy, clean taste, mildly fruity. Lightly bitter hopped finish.
Feel: Light and bright, fizzy and carbonated with a nice tingle.
Overall: This beer really hit the spot on a warm night, more than it is for me today on a cooler and cloudy/rainy day. I don't taste the ginger or orange peel that is hinted at in this beer (mentioned on the label). Maybe the orange more than the ginger, if anything. I'm not sure if they are actually used in here as ingredients or if these are just the tasting notes of the creators. This beer is sort of candy-like in its sweetness and lightness.

Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a thick, head of foam. It smelled of ginger, citrus and caramel. Nice ginger flavor with hints of orange. This was surprisingly good.

Poured from a 12oz can into a Weizen glass. L: dark straw to golden. Limited head fades to thin ring. Decent bubbles. Looks like a lager. S: Dry biscuit and ginger and citrus. Like faint tangerine. T: yep ginger. Pink sushi ginger, you know next to the wasabi. F: crisp and refreshing. Slight spice bite is not too bad. Finishes the overall delivery. O: not what I was expecting from the Kansas City Craft Brewers in the baby blue and white can.
