A - Poured out a clear, copper color with a good deal of carbonation. It had a fizzy, off-white, three-finger head that left no lace.
S - Rye and malt dominate the nose.
T - Tastes of rye and spice. Almost a banana and clove-like flavor. Also, some caramel malt tastes.
M - It was crisp and sharp. A light to medium-bodied beer.
D - I liked it, but I doubt it will become a regular in my fridge. It is an interesting rye beer.

This brew is a darker golden color with a respectable white head. The aroma is a mix of grain and alcohol. Some hop scents in the background, and a Rye-like scent. Not bad, but not great either. The taste is balanced, and a little sharp (carbonation and bitterness). Nice malt and grain flavor in the mid-taste. The finish lingers. Nothing offensive, but not really great.

I had this on tap in a pint glass.
Appearance- Hazy, light amber color with one fingers worth of lingering white head. Light amount of lacing.
Smell- Bread and sweet malt aroma.
Taste- Pale malt flavor with caramel sweetness and light hop notes.
Mouthfeel- Light bodied with an average amount of fizzy carbonation.
Overall- Decent and drinkable, but not outstanding.

To begin with, I must say this is an unusual rye beer. I'm reviewing this as if it's an English Pale Mild Ale, which is what it tastes like to me.
I bought a six pack with a best by date of 9/2012. Came in a brown bottle and poured vigorously into a pint glass. Coppery color with a nice off-white 2 finger head.
Smell is malty with light hops...very light hops. Taste is the same - this has no rye bite or sourness found in other rye beers I've had in the past. If I were rating this as if it were a rye beer, I'd drop the scores significantly down to about a 2 overall. However, it tastes like a lovely English Pale Mild Ale...a style I rarely find in the states and really like. It's my favorite session style, and I wish my local Irish pub where our Irish session is served this...it's a great, light ale to drink while playing music for 4 hours in a row.
Anyway, taste is malty with light hops, very smooth and drinkable, and no aftertaste.
All in all, if you're not expecting a classic rye beer, it's grand.

Clear and tan with a one finger white head and fair lace, some rising bubbles.
Smell is grainy and lightly sweet, nothing particularly special.
Taste is grainy with grassy and sweet notes.
Feels pretty thin and could use a bit more carbonation.
Overall I'm not too impressed with this one.

A modest, creamy, white head lasts a good while, leaving slight lacing over a clear, dark gold beer.
Has an aroma of straw with some caramel and white pepper. Unfortunately, there is also some wet cardboard.
SunRyes is rather unassuming and neutral in a Rohrbach pint glass. One can, however, discern some caramel and there are light grains in the modest finish.
The light body, watery texture and fizzy carbonation are reminiscent of macro lagers. There is also a light astringency.
A fine drinking beer with pizza while watching a ballgame. Weston seems to gear their beer toward a specific clientele. However, I think they would do well to take some risks with bolder, less mainstream, offerings.
