bottled in june 2013, had march 2014. Poured clear and golden from bottle (served at BeerBistro) had a good lacing and retention, smell has florals, hay, lemon, and a good farmy/barnyardy feel. On the palate it had a filling full effervescence, nice amount of carbonation and a great sessionability. Quite a typical saison, with a strong yeasty contribution, musty and floral fruity notes, with a lot of citrus, coming together, quite enjoyable all round and a strong representation of the style. Nothing too off-the-wall, with a pleasing dry finish. Quite a tasty and enjoyable saison. Complexity is pretty good and the balance is pretty on the mark. Worth trying if you see it.

Poured from the tap a clear gold color with two fingers of bright white head.

The aroma very sweet with candy sugar and a hint of spice and Belgian yeast.

The taste was incredibly sweet. Too much so. The light spice and yeast notes were present as well.

Medium bodied and dry with a moderate carbonation.

The super sweetness of this Saison overpowered everything else. I actually couldn't finish it.

Orange blonde colour, ring of white head lots of lace. Smell is of fruity yeast, clean grainy malt bill with a lingering light hop presence, some green apple and plastic from the yeast that I get in some saisons, the mix of fruit yeast and plastic here is reminiscent of Dupont. Taste is fruity and dry, lingering grassy hop bitterness, less of the plastic from the nose but still there in the aftertaste between sips, not a whole lot going on here otherwise. Dry medium body, light-medium carbonation. Not a favourite of mine, the last third of the 12oz draft pour was a bit of a chore to get through not because of any off flavours but because this is a bit uninteresting.
