Pours hazy yellow not much of a head for a hefe
Smells and tastes like a traditional hefe. Clove and banana. Nothing fancy, but a well-done hefe, which is rare for US breweries.
MF-Crisp and light.
Overall one of the better American hefes I've had.

L) Pours a slightly hazy straw/honey color with a short-lived head.
S) Fairly traditional nose, with notes of bread, banana, and clove. Quite pleasant.
T) The taste is rich with banana esters and lovely grainy notes.
F) The mouthfeel is almost a wee-bit creamy, and it has a medium-high carbonation. A pleasant to sip and swish.
O) A good representation of a German style hefe brewed in the states. An easy recommendation.

On tap:
Pours a slightly dingy yellow, lightly cloudy and with an enticing foamy to near creamy white head. The cap fades slowly, and drapes of lacing form.
Nose has banana up front with a smidge of bubblegum. A bit of wheat comes through upon closer inspection. There may be more nuance here, but atmosphere prevents noticing. Could go higher.
Taste too has a banana lean, but just slightly. I imagine a banana wheat sandwich bread (which sounds worse than I intend). There’s a little high note of very subdued lemon, and a hint of earthy that could be coriander (or more of the wheat in disguise).
Feel is just wonderfully soft, but light. Not challenging to the palate at all, this pour is near perfect feel (having had this before, it’s not an aspect I recall standing out).
Pleasantly surprised to grab this solely for review of a beer I neglected and completely enjoy it. I recall liking it in the past but expected a 3.7ish range. Definitely better than that.
