In the beer's defense the distributor I purchased it from sold beer that was bottled in September so it is not super fresh.
A-Interesting bottle design and not one that I have seen before. Pink frontal lay with the brewery name a cross the top with the name of the beer on the bottom. Good choice of cap with a gold star and red outlay (will go great with my collection). Too "feminine" for me to truly enjoy. Bonus points for putting the master brewer on the label.
S-The smell is very crisp and clean; very much what you would expect from a wheat beer.
T-The taste is surprisingly refreshing and certainly emulates the crisp and clean smell that gets your senses started.
M-There is something missing as you feel the beer hit your tongue but it very refreshing.
O-It is a good wheat beer but lacks in flavor in my book. It would be a good drink for a hot day while mowing your lawn or laying on the beach.

A: A loud, audible crackling and popping from a foamy, dirty white head leaves much to be desired with a washy, quick, descent. A hazy, brass coloring has a rapid rate of macro-bubble effervesce while the lacing is lean and disappointing.
S: Aroma of pale wheat, light rose hibiscus, small tart funk that was near moot. There really isn't alot going on here, a fade of semi-dry orange peels with a strength and complexity that was flat lining.
T: Flavor of tart orange and wheat, funk, hefeweizen yeast, bubblegum and tangerine. Hint of apple cider.
M: Mouthful was crisp, sparkling, lots of activity, feels a bit foamy when things die down.
O: Overall, moderate drinkability at best, may be a overcarbonated and hardly worthy seeking out.

I picked this beer up in a mixed six pack and was pleasantly surprised. While I do enjoy wheat beers in general, I tend to shy away from some of the wheat beers that have a spicier taste. This beer, however, had more subtle spice flavors and was lighter in character than comparable beers such as hoeggarten. I gave this beer a high rating because of its amazing drinkability, the fact that it would make a great summer beer, and could appeal to even the most stubborn of domestic light beer drinkers. Bust out a case of this at your next barbecue, I'm sure it will go over well!
