Brewed 16/5/2010 Bottle Number 413.
A particularly effervescent beer that readily produced a dense white head.
The clear in the name apparently does not pertain to the visual aspects within my glass, as I espied a cloudy pale to mid gold offering , even with the sediment left in the bottle.
The wheat malts were most apparent to me giving the drink an entertaining spritziness.
It is particularly light but lifting on the palate.
It finishes with a hint of paw paw fruitiness that suggests a fruitiness.
This is an early afternoon refreshment for a warm summer day

This pours a cloudy light golden colour. A reasonable head with some good retention and nice lacing.
Some strong hop aromas coming through - tropical fruit.
The tropical fruit flavours come through on the palate but an astringency dominates and a soapy mouthfeel doesn't help.
I was expecting a lot more from this given its appearance and aroma and the price per bottle. Disappointing.

certainly is on the light side, though still a slight haze from the bottle conditioning. thin wispy white head. medium carbonation.
interesting aroma. light and floral and very refreshing.
taste seems to go in the opposite direction. sharp almost to the point of being harsh. not bitter, but maybe yeast or the wheat character is just a bit too much. behind that there is some pleasant light hoppiness to it, but its a struggle to find.
a bit disappointing. could see the potential, but it needs some work to smooth out.
