One small room makes up this British pub owned and generally operated by Raf, an ex-Brit who's brought a little bit of his homeland to America. It's a small place, but that translates to a cozy atmosphere. Very British decor, with a punk kinda flavor, while maintaining a general good-natured atmosphere just about any sort of person can enjoy.
The beers on tap include Amstel Light, Telegraph (a local Santa Barbara Brewery), Newcastle, Boddingtons, Stella Artois, Bitburger, Carlsberg, Strongbow, Guinness, Firestone Pale, Fullers ESB. In the bottle they have Schronramer, Hopf Bock, Hopf Wheat, Fat Tire, Becks, Kronenburg, Heineken, Sierra Nevada, Pacifico, Corona, Kaliber, Bud and Coors.
The Press Room also has one of the best juke boxes around, with great albums by British & Irish punk bands like The Jam, Sex Pistols and The Pogues as well classics by the Stones, Johnny Cash and other good good stuff.
***Edit (June '07)***
The last few times I've been here they haven't had the local Telegraph brew. It looks like they've taken it off tap for good. It's a blow to the Press Room's craft beeredness, but it doesn't seem like that's their #1 priority, which would be UK football.

Music is good if you like that. I love the Clash and there was plenty of that palying while I was there. Small, cozy and maybe even a little old school due to te music and atmosphere but still very cozy. The crowd was younger. I was not impressed by the beer at all unfortunately. They had the typical Euro macros on:Newcastle, Guinness, Stella,Boddingtons. At least get some Twisted Thistle After visiting England, Germany and many places in Europe numerous times and hitting some real pubs its hard to drink this kind of beer. I really wish people would start investing in real craft English brew if they are going to call it a pub. Even the bottle selection leaned to macro.
