Sea Dog's blueberry ale has given me a little bit of hope that someday I will actually come to like blueberry flavored beer.
A - Standard golden body with a small white head. Fairly clear.
S - Powerful wild blueberry scent hits your nose when pouring, but moments later when you stick your nose into the glass the scent dies down a bit and gets mixed with a more general fruitiness and some wheaty scents.
T - Good job on promoting but not overdoing the blueberry flavor. It's well-blended with the other flavors. It might be a little too sweet for some, but I thought it was perfect. Having said that, I'm still not totally sold on the overall taste of blueberry beer.
M - Light to Medium. Fairly strong for a wheat ale.
D - Very drinkable mainly due to sweetness (I've got a sweettooth) and smoothness. Good desert beer for the summer!

12 oz can poured into a Pilsner glass.
Pale gold with a short head that dissipates quickly. Excellent clarity with light carbonation.
Blueberry, raspberry, and Splenda.
Tastes like blue-raspberry soda with the addition of some bready grains and caramel.
Medium-light bodied, clean, and refreshing.
It's a nice blueberry beer.
