Had on tap at the pub in Topsham ME.
Poured in to a pint glass to the brim thus no head to speak of, leaving a brown gold color with some cloudiness and no lacing.
Smell is a faint sweet malt, some caramel and faint light brown sugar. Very hard to find.
Taste is slightly better. Small sweet toasted bread feel, and a chew of brown sugar. Some caramel notes on the aftertaste with a sugary somewhat finish, with at least a decent body. The beer also has a honey stickyness quality to it in the palate also.
Drinkability is pretty good and easy at a simple 6.2 ABV.
Serving type: on-tap
