Poured a deep, dark brown. Not much of a head at all but most browns that I ahve don't. The smell was malty and somehwt blah. Had a good taste of malt, sugar and some caramel. Overall,i thought it was a decent brown and maybe one of the best beers here..sadly.

A - 1/4" beige head. Dark brown - clean, clear and filtered. Head does not stick around long and falls to a cap. Some sporadic lace down the glass.
S - Muted with virtually no aroma.
T - Very close to the flavor of a weak porter. Slight buttery malt. Kind of resembles a dark mild.
M - Thin mouthfeel with low to mid carbonation.
D - This is sessionable but very low on character.

I really enjoyed this
Poured chestnut in color with a 1" white head. Head retention& lacing were bleow average
Smell: Slight nutiness and a hint of grainyness
Taste: Big nutiness up front, then comes maltiness & choclate notes. Finishes quinching & nutty
MF: Good balance & carbonation
Very quaffable, on of the better beers in the stable. If it wasn't for bristol, I'd say this is the best brown in the Co. Springs area
