Last time I stopped by, the place was almost empty. It looked as if they were going down. The one person working was stuck on the phone, so I left. I stopped in again earlier this week and was glad I did. An apparent change of ownership has served this place well. Moving thru the aisles was hard with the amount of produce(mostly wine) they stock. The coolers were about 50% craft and featured most of the required beers. The prices were OK and the service was better; two or three people moving around checking on me.

Stopped here on my way to Wilmington with my wife shopping.
Sign outside stated "Under new management". It seems as if the new management is more into macros that quality beer. The micro beer section consisted of two skinny coolers that contained a minimal selection (nothing special). I guess if you are desparate and looking for a sixer this would be an OK place, But it is definitely not a destination to seek out. Very dissapointling. Total Wine is the place to go if you are in the area.

Reviewing Tim's based on new location. The new place looks great, very clean, very friendy, very happy to be there, but not always the most knowledgable staff working at night - appear to be friends or family members helping out. Real nice selection of local micros, a whole fridge dedicated to Rogue bombers and other bombers, and a half way decent selection of some pretty good imports and belgians. As far as I know, no singles. Not far down the street from Total Wine which seems to be where out of staters consider the place to stop around here, but I think Tim's is better. I believe it is on Thursdays they have beer tastings from like 5-7, or something like that - call ahead first.

New store that replaced the tiny old one they had. Nice selection of micros. If you don't see something from one of the brewers they have, ask, because it may be in the back or downstairs. Only draw backs I noticed was the fact that beer was only available cold and that there could be lots of beer out on the floor if they would move a few shelves around and not many singles or bombers. Wide open floor space. Nice little cafe area back in the corner...not sure if they have tastings back there or not. The beer guy there is very knowledgeable and helpful. When I asked about something I didn't see, he went in the basement and found it for me.
