July 2007: 500 ml bottle, in the café at Stockmann, Riga. ABV is 5.2%. Pale golden colour, moderate head. Sweetish and fruity aroma. Moderately malty flavour, moderate sweetness, low bitterness.

Tasteful and very fresh. Surprisingly nice for being a regular premium lager.

Sampled this evening on 5/3/14. Comes in a .5 liter bottle (16.9 ounce) for $2.99. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in a english pint glass.
Pours a hazy golden yellow in color with a thin white head. Some spotty lacing was seen. The aroma is of some hoppy grains with a hint of some spice. The taste is of grains and malts and is heavier than a US lager. Just a real slight bitter aftertaste was noted but didn't linger. Good carbonation. Not nearly as good as their "Porteris" (Porter) but decent.

Appearance pours a hazy yellow orange with thick fluffy head that sticks around abit leaving spotty lace. Smell has that mellow Euro pale aroma of malt and hop having a buttery note. Taste is again the Euro pale with that buttery note. Mouthfeel is light with good viscosity and carbonation. One of the better Euro pale I've tried thus far.

Poured from a brown 16.9 oz. bottle. Has a pale yellow color with a 1 inch head. Smell is mild, some grains and malts. Taste is good, malts up front, considerable sweetness, some grains are present. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

I really enjoyed this one. Pours to a clear yellow with a minimal head, it really takes some vigor to get it to stick around. Has a spicy-malty aroma. Smooth malty and grainy taste, rather heavy bodied. There is a barley sweetness that reminds me of a Lowenbrau.
