This Belgian-style Abbey has climactic spicy aromas and flavor with a slightly sweet finish.

Pours a cloudy, brown color. 1/2 inch head of an off-tan color. Decent retention and slight lacing. Smells of strong sweet malt, slight nut, slight earthy malt, hint of hops, slight yeast, slight grass, and a hint of dark citrus. Fits the style of a Belgian Strong Dark Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, yeast, caramel malt, slight alcohol, slight hops, hint of grass, hint of spice, and earthy malt. Overall, great blend, a little on the weaker side for a Belgian Strong, weak appearance, but a refreshing.

Spicy Belgian strong ale. Crisp, stinging delivery with warming alcohol at the back end. Fantastic fall into winter warming beer

Definitely a solid offering, certainly brewed "insanity" but kink didn't really dominate me. A very pleasing beer with her amber frothy lipstick, but it didn't quite have the flavor excitement I was expecting; where were flavor handcuffs and teasing? Certainly a smooth and pleasing abbey, but really felt there could be more exciting pizzaz. I thought the offering was a bit pricey for what I got.

Very good abbey ale. Masterful crafting of fruit flavour via the yeast. Vg drinkability .this delivers. On tap at ale asylum. Blind tasting would rank this one up there.
