Golden in color with a bouquet of fruit and spice, this Belgian style Tripel has a touch of sweetness and a crisp, euphoric finish.

Review numbers are for fresh version.

I've been cellaring this at ambient basement temperature since 6/5/11.
Please bear in mind my tastes can be subjectively different from yours.
Fresh - 3.75 Tasty but a bit too 'hot' with booze. That's why I cellar tripels in the first place.
1 yr - 4.0 Pinnacle. Flavorful, boozey hotness is appropriately muted for my tastes.
2 yr - 3.5 Medium cardboard oxidation, no booziness.
3 yr - 2.75 Too much oxidation. Experiment aborted, all remaining bottles consumed.

1 year at basement temp seems to be the Tripel treatment of choice for my tastebuds.
YMMV.
