12oz bottle into a FW teku glass. BB 2/17/14 on side
Pours a cloudy dark copper with a nice head and great lacing. The smell is very big on cascade hops and if i smelled this side by side with ZD theyd be very close in aroma. Taste isnt quite as hoppy but the hops are very prevalent ...lots of citrus and almost no bitterness. Definitely a pale and not an IPA. Mild bodied with mild carbonation. Extremely easy to drink...bordering on criminally easy!
Overall just a superb pale that is actually a pale and not an IPA. recommended!

A- Pours a orange-golden with a nice two finger near white head. Decent retention and a fair amount of lacing clings to the glass.
S- Smell is citrus, floral, and biscuit. Remembering that, despite the name, I am grading this as an APA, it does have a reasonably assertive hop aroma.
T- Biscuity sweetness hits the tongue, but the flash of orange and floral hops (faint hint of pineapple), asserts itself without falling into unbalanced territory.
M- The body and carbonation are fine and typical of style, maybe a bit fuller in the body than average. I would say the finish was rather abrupt.
O- It is a good beer and good when viewed as an APA. Worth finding.
