Pours a cloudy, dark brown color. 1/2 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of strong yeast, alcohol, hops, hint of floral, sweet malt, and spices. Fits the style of a Belgian Strong Dark Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of yeast, roasted malt, sweet malt, hint of hop, spices, and alcohol. Overall, good appearance, aroma, body, and blend.

Pours light brown with hints of red and a slight has that let a little light through.

Smell has some great Belgian aromas. Yeasty esters have notes of apple pears and slightly tart black cherries. Some nice light phenol spice follows along with some earthy toffee malt. Very small amount of herbal hops on the finish.

Taste follows nose. Some crisp fruity Belgian flavors are forward followed by a light phenolic spice and toffee like lightly roasted malt. Nicely balanced and the malt and yeasty flavors compliment each other nicely.

Mouthfeel is crisp smooth and refreshing. Not too light, not too heavy. Mild carbonation keeps this crisp but not to sharp.
