A blend of seven unique malts give this brown ale an earthy aroma and a flavor reminiscent of caramel with a slightly creamy finish.

12oz bottle, no freshness date even though the label leaves a space for something to be imprinted. New to the Chicago area, I've had some of their stuff in the past and enjoyed thoroughly.
L - cloudy brown ale capped with a thinner ivory head
S - caramel, bread, chocolate, yeast
T - brown malt, nutty, bready, caramel, spicy earthy hops
F - creamy and smooth mouth feel. Fairly clean finish.
O - good nut brown ale here. Nothing exceptional, but definitely drinkable.

Pours medium brown with a wispy tan head. Some lacing sticks.
.
The smell is of caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts and a hint of cocoa.

The taste is of caramel, nuts, and a touch of chocolate. The malty sweetness in balanced by mild roast and subtle earthy tones in the finish.

It is malty smooth and creamy. Very pleasant smoothness and aftertaste.

It hits the style on the head. A rich malty smooth that is sweet, but balanced. Caramel-ish, nutty, slightly chocolaty with a smooth texture. I had a second bottle with leftovers from Thanksgiving, and it went well with the free-range turkey and the gravy!
