Bedlam! A chaotic blend of Citra hops and Belgian yeast give this IPA aromas of summer fruits and a bright hop presence with a plush finish.

dark orange, with little head on top. hazy, indeed. yeast sits on the bottom of the bottle.
smell is like candied oranges!!
taste is of some rich Belgian yeast, some floral and citric hops and a little hop bitterness. lots of fruit.
very easy to drink. 'best enjoyed by' date is rubbed out (bought it online from a broker) so i'm not certain how old it is but it has a very interesting footprint. kind of creamy, kind of sugar-y sweet. very interesting. I want to say 'popsicle' but it really isn't there. but this is an awesome brew!

Poured into a tulip glass from a 12 oz. bottle that I received from a friend.

A- Semi-translucent amber color, pale 2 finger head with good retention and moderate lacing.

S- Floral hops, apricots, piney sweetness.

T- Floral hops, mild citrus and pine, cloves, grapefruit.

M- Smooth creamy, moderate carbonation.

Overall a very good representation of the style. A very good beer.

12oz bottle, Best Enjoyed By 04/1?/2014
L - frothy ivory head caps a hazy amber colored ale. Tons of lacing is left on the glass as the head dissipates
S - awesome fresh aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, yeast, floral hop
T - sweet, fresh, and juicy; tropical mango, passion fruit, mandarin, and pineapple; Juicy Fruit gum, grapefruit, caramel, grain, Belgian yeast
F - medium body, creamy, a bit resinous, finishes more sweet than bitter, alcohol is non-existent
O - super refreshing with juicy, fruity hops melding with the yeast to create an explosion of taste, however I would like this to be a bit more bitter than it is, especially if it's an IPA of sorts.

12 oz. bottle poured into pint glass

A-1 finger of nice foam, decent lacing. Orange, hazy appearance.

S-Loads of pine and orange/tropical fruit with some sweetness as well.

T-Pine, pineapple, tropical fruits. Nice malt backbone, but interesting hop profile wins it for me. Some spiciness coming through as it warmed.

M-Coats nicely. Medium body and carbonation is appropriate.

O-This beer surprised me and is much better than I thought it was going to be. I've had other beers from Ale Asylum, but this one easily beats them out. I'd buy a six of this anytime.
