Poured from a bottle into tulip
A - Pours a wonderful orange color with about 1 finger of white head that fades rather quickly.
S - The citra hop really shines here. Pineapple, mango, apple, orange peel. Bubblegum and traditional Belgian yeast come through very apparently as well. Quite a treat to the nose.
T - Somewhat similar to the nose. Green apple, bubblegum, pineapple, pear, other light fruits and Belgian yeast come through. Bitterness is up there. I'd imagine IBUs in the 90s or so. Very balanced and easy drinking. No alcohol or heat. My new favorite Belgian IPA!
O - This beer blew me away for the style. The only other Belgian IPA I've had that comes close is Lagunitas Little Sumpin Wild, but I haven't had Duvel yet. If you live in Wisconsin, don't hesitate upon purchasing a sixer of this stuff. Easy drinking and flavorful: everything you would want in a Belgian IPA.
