Notes/Commercial Description:
Bedlam! A chaotic blend of Citra hops and Belgian yeast give this IPA aromas of summer fruits and a bright hop presence with a plush finish.

From notes on 3/8/14

Pretty fine brew. Just got done with a PsuedoSue, so get to compare Citra hop beers. This ones good. Much sweeter from the Trappist yeast. Don’t like it as much, but still a very good solid beer.

A-Semi cloudy deep orange, two finger head with nice lacing

S-Starts with some citrus hops and then the belgian character takes over, clove, banana, grass.

T-Starts with nice belgian notes of clove and banana. Ends with a mild citrus with nice bitterness.

M-Medium bodied, nice carbonation and a tad velvety.

O-One of the better Belgian IPAs out there, the citra hops definitely help out.

This is everything I ever wanted, since I'm a fan of Belgian yeasts and a hoppy-not-bitter character. It also helps that I prefer higher-ABV beers.

There's an understated sweetness that lends itself to multiple servings without a sugar overload. I generally like to switch my drinking up, but a long evening with a six-pack of Bedlam is perfectly fine in my book.
