This is a solid drinkable beer. Cleaningo ut the shelves of the summer beers to make room for the big boys of winter. Certainly worth the try.

My first review here;
Poured from a bomber into a tulip glass, creamy head, dissipates quickly.
Golden orange color with very subtle nose of fruit and strangely enough, a slight hint of ammonia.
Not what I was expecting in terms of hoppiness, this has plenty of hops for even the most discerning hop head and is far from your typical pale ale.
Piney front taste with a slight popcorny finish. Very easy to drink and does exactly what its designed for, a simple easy to drink summertime ale. At 6.0 abv this is very sessionable for me and is very inexpensive at my local bodega at $3.99
Another fine brew from Port.

A: poured from a 22 oz, bottle into an imperial pint glass, golden orange amber colored with a large white head that lingers leaving good lacing, slightly hazy

S: heavy on citrus hops up front, slighty bready with a notable yeast presence, has a lemony pine aroma

T: bitter grapefruit up front that flades into a slight malt sweetness, light flavors of lemon and orange in the middle, fades to a slight pine bitterness that lingers

M: medium to lighter bodied with higher carbonation, refreshing feel

O: an excellent new offering by Port at a very reasonable price, hopefully it will be available in 6-pks as I will gladly return to it

22 oz bomber to pint glass.

A refreshing pale that accomplishes what its brewers intended. Hops are dank and floral on the nose, set against a cracker-grain backdrop. Citrusy and sharp on the palate, clean and refreshing, this hop-forward ale is gently held back by honey-lemon sweetness. With a light body and ample carbonation, the brew quaffs easily on hot summer nights (I could probably force this down given different weather conditions).

Bottled 5/29/14, nice summer pale on a hot humid stormy day.

Pours a huge frothy creamy thick-ish 2+ finger head that fades semi slowly, decent spotty lacing, mostly clear honey orange slight pilsner color.

NOse great hop aroma, a cross of citrusy tropical fruit of American and Kiwi hops, a nice musty resin hint of pine sap like, but resin and big mustiness, dank passion fruit, some guava even, little papaya but not a lot, mild citrus and tangerine, a little terroir and earthy note, mild floral citrus blossom, but mostly nice mild tropical fruit notes. Just a touch of a grainy sweet malt.

Taste brings some mild sweet toasty grainy malts, actually malts get quite big with toastiness and grainy flavors, almost wheat like. Then big hops, fair bitterness, musty dank resinous hops, with a nice Kiwi like terroir and American citrus fruit, and tropical fruit of both. Some resinous passion fruit, papaya, little orange and tangerine juice, clementine, etc. Hops get a bit spicy and grassy as it goes. Finish is dry but a little sticky, huge bittering hop component that even turns a bit astringent, super spicy, with more earthy hop notes, terroir flavors, resin and musty hops lingering, long bitter hop lingering.

Mouth is med bod, very nice effervescent carb.

Overall quite nice, it does get a bit heavy bitter and astringent on the finish, but a great hop profile otherwise, and a nice malt profile that pops up to say hello then hides back behind the great hops. A nice balance and quite enjoyable. Also nice body, great carbonation, overall just a great enjoyable summer beer.
