Pours a hazy orange/copper color with a thin, whispy, off white head.
Strong aromas of citrusy, piney hops mixed with some bready malt. Grapefruit, mandarin orange, pine needles, maybe a bit of cedar.
Taste is obviously quite bitter dominated by strong piney, citrusy hop character. There is a nice malt character as well, though. Very subtle cookie-like, breadiness. I wouldn't call it balanced but it gives the beer a nice malt backbone.
Medium bodied with some light carbonation. Despite the overall bitterness it finishes with a touch of sweetness.
A dangerously drinkable beer!
