The beer poured a very nice hazy orange with very nice, slightly off white, big dense head that was well retained and small cap remained.
The beer gave off a good citrus and pine hop aroma, but I did not particularly find the aroma to be overly good, maybe slightly above average. I guess that I expected it to be bigger or more complex perhaps.
The taste is very good, citrus bitter hops dominate with a hint of piney or earthy hops. I think that maybe some juniper was detected as well. The beer finishes with a very dry aftertaste.
The beer had a medium feel to it with very good carbonation. The beer felt sticky, but smooth and was easy to drink, but in my opinion the beer lacks good drinkability given the elevated ABV. One will do and you are done. Overall, a good DIPA, but I have had better and worse.
