Poured from 22 in Blythe, CA. Beer I tasted may not have been the most fresh.
A - pours a nice rich orange at first, but soon pours fill with floaties. Not what I expected for this style.
S - love the firey, citrusey hop aroma. sharp and clean fragrance.
T - oak overtones are notable and heavy. This beer feels like a meal. The alcohol haunts the taste a bit. Full malt flavor.
M - floaties aren't a favorite for the palette.
O - an okay DIPA which is heavy, as promised and a real sock in the teeth at 10% ABV. Not one I'd reach for again, but I should stay open to a fresher bottle.
