Appearance This chunky yellowish-orange IPA has a modest head that lingered well.
Smell The hops were are crisp but not overpowering. They are fruitier than anything else. The malt is light as well and a bit grainy.
Taste Ah, this one picks things up at the taste. The grapefruit is sweet and really takes control, pushing the light grain into the background and providing a peep hole for the liquid malts and candy sugars.
Mouthfeel This is just shy of medium-bodied with some sprightly carbonation and a creamy base.
Drinkability This went down well enough although its not a heavy hitter like some of Pizza Ports other beers.

Bottle from blitheringidiot, delivered to me via autumnaldave....thanks guys you both rock!! Pours into my glass a nice bright orange hue with a small creamy white head on top. Looks pretty nice in the glass. Aromas start off with sweet caramel that's quickly met by a blast of fruity, citrusy, almost tropical hops. Green, fresh and vibrant.
First sip brings a mellow caramel maltiness along with a slight breadiness as well. Quickly followed up by a blast of herbal citric hops that have a tropical fruit twang. Grapefruit is prevalent as well as some spiciness. Solid bitterness hits on the back of the palate as the brew finishes with a touch of dryness. A tasty fresh hop IPA to be had here.
Mouthfeel is smooth and medium bodied. Easy to drink with plenty of carbonation. A solid fresh hop brew from Pizza Port. It doesn't blow me away like some of their stuff, but it's definetly a solid IPA and a tasty treat that I was lucky enough to have the chance to sample.

Interestingly light colored, clear, foamy, effervescent. Bubbles persist receding slowly leaving nice lace.
Pleasantly bitter. Great hop feel. Citrus notes.
A very enjoyable fresh hop beer from one of the great California breweries.
Always fun to see this show up on the shelf each Fall.

Poured into a stemless wine glass.
Hazy gold-amber with a clumpy white head that looks like frothy steamed milk on a latte.
Smells wet and grassy, some tart citrus too.
A little bit watery up front. Green grass and piney burn. Booze is present, but not overbearing. Some lingering grass/pine oil bitterness.
Nice enough fresh IPA. I wouldn't choose it over many of my year-round, go-to IPAs but would definitely have a pint or 3 of this each season.

22 oz bottle. Pours a clear light golden yellow with a frothy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is strong bright fruity piney hops with a touch of bready malts in the background.
The flavor is all hops - it is strong resiney tarry bitter hops. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with soft watery carbonation.
Overall, I remember liking this better the first time I had it. This one is an unbalanced hop bomb - which is fine, but I'm not caring for the hop flavors as much this time around. I remember it tasting fruitier and pinier.

Pours a straw yellow into my Allagash tulip.
The head forms rapidly thick fluffy white and very sticky clinging to the glasses edge.
The aroma is wonderful, floral and citrus hops. This aroma of the hops is top notch. I keep my nose out of it.
The taste is pungent hops. It starts with a slight carbonation on the tongue that almost numbs the mouth. The mix of floral and citrus hop tastes comes and abrutly finishes with a bitterness you might not expect. This bitter also reveals a earthy hop flavor.
I love the beginig taste of this beer but the bitter is a little off but still a great beer one I will look for again

Bomber for $6.70 from Spirit Haus in Amherst MA. No freshness info to be had. Pours lighter, hazed, soft yellowy amber, nice, larger head, stays much better then well, leaves plenty of super sticky lace, froth and sheeting. Impressive look to this one. Up front citrusy nose, grapefruit, lemons, flowery hop goodness. Simply delicious SD style IPA. Waves of grapefruit, flowery hop tastyness. Crisp, fresh hop crunching. Love the style, bring on the spiced up/BBQ foods. Label says brewed in the fall. I'd love to know how fresh this bottle was. Mighty tasty stuff. Highly recommended. Thinking about how I can get a few more bottles

Light gold color with a white head leaving good lacing and has pretty good retention. Aroma is mostly of pine, but there are some floral, earthy aromas as well and a bit of grapefruit. Some citrus flavors, but I seem to get a fairly large amount of earthy flavors. Lighter than medium carbonation with a medium body. Pretty good stuff.

Bottle courtesy of blitheringidiot who scored some when he was working out West. The appearance is a little clear for an IPA but it is a West Coast Hop bomb. Not much carbonation. The hops is all that I taste and smell but I am a hophead so I enjoyed it. I like this beer better than the Wipeout bottles.

Yesss. Love this one. Gold pour with a big white head. It says it is "fresh hopped" and you can really taste the difference. Lots of orange, grapefruit, and pine, without the stickiness or resin tastes. Not that I don't like the resin, but this just has a cleaner taste. Very, very good.

On-tap @ Hollingsheads(first draw from new keg Mike's pour)
A: Pure Honey looks like a hefe! Standard hollingshead 2-finger head.
S: Can't smell this one at all mabye its the "dirty" brand jalapeño chips were eating.
T: So good!!! Nice creamy hops(if that makes sense) the malt choice in this makes it stand out more than the sierra fresh hops IMO.
M: Crisp/wet hops.
D: Very High, no wonder the employees @ high times horded this one last year (only let me buy 1 bottle).

Light golden and yellow with a stiff near-white head. Lines of lacing left down the glass.
As expected, the aroma is quite hoppy and focuses on citrus: lots of grapefruit and orange. There's a hint of pale or crystal malt, but this is certainly hop-forward. There's also some grassy aromas peeking through as well.
A very floral and grassy hop flavor with a mild citrus behind it. Simple, yet obviously fresh, and incredibly tasty.
Disappearing, crisp, medium mouthfeel. Incredibly drinkable.
A wonderful, refreshing, drinkable, tasty fresh hop IPA.
