Pours a hazy orange color with a frothy white head that leaves nice chunks of lacing.
Smells of big pine and citrus hops.
Tastes of big wave of hops and a solid malt base. Hops are characterized by grapefruit, tropical fruits, and some pine resin. Plenty of bitterness is present. Malts cut through and add some caramel sweetness. Alcohol adds on the end and gives a bit of warmth in the throat.
Mouthfeel is medium-full with a smooth amount of carbonation.
Overall, a good DIPA and is definitely better than the 4th anniversary DIPA.

Good orange appearance with a small 1/4" head on it, aroma was yielding more malt sweetness than I ever expected from a Pizza Port dipa. Kinda weird that the hops didn't pop here.
Taste was 100ibu size bitterness. Sticky malt, although lighter than initially thought. This was decent, but also a disappointment coming from one of the world's best hoppy beer makers.
