Served in straight pint glass. Poured a cloudy yellow with just a thin cap of white head that had very low retention and no lacing.

The aroma was a fairly neutral and balanced scent, with a nice graininess blended with a gentle hop scent. The flavor was a bit more fully developed, the grains were were bolder and the hops more clearly defined. The beer was nicely balanced, showing a solid hand in the brewhouse.

The body was surprisngly full for this style, yet remained light and easy to drink. Drinkability was excellent, you could have a lot of these low ABV gems without suffering palate fatigue.

Overall, a very nice example of the style, absoluetly worth your time.

pours a pale yellow with a very small white head, and not much lacing.

smell is of grain, and some citrus.

taste is faint, light wheat, some citrus, and a little banana, ends a little dry.

overall more like a lager than a blond, and not much flavor to it.

Sampled on draft at the Harmon Brewery. It has a light, sweet aroma. Hazy light yellow color. Unfortunately it was served with an orange slice. Not that there's anything wrong with that - it's just a pet peeve of mine since the citrus alters the natural aroma. Good malty finish. Well done for the style.

If you like blondes then you will like this. Not to complicated here. Poured a kight-medium gold, small frothy head, smelled of what and citrus and maybe even a little wheat. ABV is nice and low for a good session beer. I have only dank it a million times. Try the IPA!!! It is goood.

This beer pours a light yellow straw color with a light head. It has a mild sweet malt smell. It has a light malt flavor with a hint of wheat. It has a creamy but crisp feel that finishes well. A little heavy for my drinking taste but it’s worth trying at least once.

Surprisingly full-bodied for a blonde ale, and who doesn’t like a full-bodied blonde? This one is bright goldenrod, unfiltered, and forms graphic lace on the way down.

Harmon brews Mt. Takhoma with pilsner malt and flaked wheat and serves it with an orange wedge. It’s refreshing at first with a low measure of flavor punctuated by accommodating bittering. But the late arrival of a dour yeasted tang interrupts the initial drinkability factor. The aftertaste is strong and grips the tongue like a pro wrestler with a grudge. Still, with a bit of adjustment to this intrusion, the beer comes across as a casual low-risk ale worthy of your pizza.

Cleaning up that aftertaste would bump this one up a notch. The orange wedge stole the aroma and didn’t work for me.
