"Brewed with 4 gallons of pure maple syrup"
Served in a shaker pint, T-Town Maple Brown is a murky, rusty light brown with a thin egg-shell collar.

Smell is pretty strong, especially considering the colder serving temp, caramel, lightly toasted malt and maple syrup.

Taste is good, malty with a nice maple back current that's nicely integrated with the base brown, more so then I was expecting, both by the description and the nose, and that's a good thing. There's a firm bitterness on the spicy finish, but again, it's not overly sweet or syrupy at all.

Mouthfeel is on the lighter sider and kind of dry, but with a nice creamy carbonation. There's a bit of a boozy, spicy aftertaste, but it's clean.

Drinkability is pretty good, I like a nice brown, and think they did a great job of integrating the adjunct without over doing it. I'm sure if they cheaped out on the commerical syrup it would be gross. But this is pretty nice, great fall beer, but the spiciness on the finish might get tiring after awhile.
