A: Poured a nice deep prangish copper color with good carbonation leaving a nice white cap and some lacing on the glass even after it sat for five minutes.
S: Light orange zest, grapefruit and a light bouquet fo flowers.
T: Most excellent. A blend of citrus and floral notes with a rather biscuity note to it as well. A minimal booze presence and lots of good clean, defined tasting notes made this a treat to drink
M: Medium body, Harmon keeps their beers balanced and this is an example of balanced IPA. Rather clean finish and not overly oily but Cascades tend to have lower Alphas so it helped this beer.
O: Darn good and one of the best in the One Hop series thus far

On draught at Harmon, the Cascade OHW is clear bronze with an off-white head leaving really nice lace.
Smell is citrus and classic, but on the soft side.
Taste is solid, simple, a little cracker like biscuit malt, some sour citrus cascade's. Lemon/lime/sugar in harmony. Nothing really notable, but well. Done. I was surprised to find out about the strength, it's very well hidden.
Mouthfeel is a bit slick, dry. Medium light bodied.
Drinkability is pretty good. It's a good showcase of this classic West Coast IPA hop, under-scoring to some degree why it's losing favor, due to it's lack of intensity. But some times balace is key, and it really works here. A well made, old school IPA, with the new school punch. Impressive.
