22 oz bottle found under our Xmas tree (Hail Santa ! )
No discernible bottling date info. And strangely no ABV info provided on bottle. I checked Harmon brewer's web site and they have it listed as 5.5 ABV with a 52 IBU
Pours a cloudy copper body. When held up to a lamp it lightens considerably. A slightly off white head. Very little retention, some lacing.
Smell starts as a barley malt that is somewhat bread like. This quickly leads to a floral hop scent... Or is it the other way around ? There is a nice balance going on here.
Taste follows this balanced mix of hop and barley malt but the hops seem to win this one.
Feel is consistent for an amber ale.
Overall; Look could be better... But I liked this beer because of the really interesting balance. The hops and malts do a nice little duet. Not sure if it's exactly an amber ale, but whatever it is I liked it !

sweet toffee nose, loved the color, deep and cloudy..but that's perfect. seems like a good group of local folks running the place. this is an every day amber that isn't over the top but quenchable. simple but has some great flavors that make it easy to drink. wish it was in California.
