Brewer says this is hopped with Amarillo and is 8.2% ABV. It doesn't seem so strong in the drinking, however. Orangey amber color with considerable amount of floaties. Adequate foam in the Ommegang chalice with some short-lived lacing.

Starts out with a big malty taste. Eventually seems rather sharp and on the acidic side, in spite of plenty of sweet malt. The mouthfeel is kind of plain and seems to lose the spritz. Lots and lots of hop flavors with a moderately bitter finish. From the 22 oz bottle bought from the cooler at the brewpub in downtown Tacoma.

There was no information on the label, so I don't know if this is one of the brews listed here as "One Hop Wonders" or not. Combine if needed.

Hated 22oz format. Poured a lightly hazy orange-gold with over 1/4 inch of off-white head that had low retention and decent lacing.

The aroma was a subdued blend of citrusy hops and semi-sweet malts. The flavor profile was the same, soft malts and lightly bitter hops. The finish was short-lived and the flavors didn't linger very long.

The body was about average, a bit on the full side of medium. Drinkability was good, the bottle certainly disappeared quickly enough. Overall, a nice enough brew, but not one that I'm likely to remember for long. Probably worth a shot if you see it.
