I find this beer rather unpleasant among the available mass produced Euro lagers available here in Sweden. There’s not all that much to other than some syrupy malt sweetness and sweet alcohol component. I suppose it’s a cheap option if you’re looking for some higher ABV. I’d much rather drink the 5.3% Carlsberg Sort Guld that I’ve had a lot of lately.

The beer is clear dark (or murky) golden, the off-white head settles rather quickly, leaving some lacing.
The smell is very faint, metallic and a bit sour-sweet.
Somewhat sweetish stale dusty bread taste, an alkaloid and sour bitterness, much alcohol.
Rather low carbonation, short and slightly bitter body.
Nope, this is much worse than it's little brother Arboga 5.6.

This is my second (different) Arboga beer tonight - hopes are even lower than before the first one...
33 cl black and grey striped can with an black eagle on top.
A: Pours kind of flat copper with a large white head, that's kind of compact at first but then sinks soapy into some lacings.
S: Thin and watery. Corn, sweet malts and faint, very faint bitter hops.
T: Sweet malt. Alcohol. Not much else.
M: Aftertaste lasts longer than I would have guessed, holds bitterness, sweetness and quite some alcohol. Body is full and carbonation is medium.
D: This is what you buy when getting drunk is more important than drinking a nice beer. Avoid!!!

The colour is medium gold; the small white foam dissolves into thin air without any trace or lacing.
The weak smell is sweet with a touch of bitter hops.
The taste is sweet and rather anonymous with full-bodied malt. There are notes of sweet almonds and gravy. There is a distinct flavour of alcohol. The short aftertaste is sweet with notes of fruit candies and chemical alcohol.
The carbonation is short and strong with big bubbles. Not very impreessive.
