Best before 21 nov 2013 - This is now four mounths "to late" but still it tastes good!
The liquid is hazy and deep orange with a two finger white head.
Nose: Apricot, orange, grass, xitrus, orange marmelade, marzipan and caramel malt.
Taste: Orange, caramel malt, pine, alcohol and fruity hops.
Oily texture an a medium body. A little carbonation.
I’ll say theese extra mounths have done the beer just good!

The colour is gold-amber (20 EBC), the liquid is almost clear. The white head is two finger high, it sinks slowly leaving lots of lacing.
The smell is much milder than I expected from the style. There are bitter-hoppy notes of American citric hops; orange peels and grapefruits. It is quiet sweet with dense notes of milk and cream candy. Leather, dough and a hint of smoke.
The taste is at first strong and bitter. The bitterness fades leaving room for a massive fruity sweetness. Oranges, grapefruits and red apples. Full body. The aftertaste got growing bitter notes and alcohol. More oranges and strong sweet favous. The finish is balanced with clean bitterness and barley wine like sweetness.
The carbonation is strong, the large bubbles are long-lived. The liquid id semi-thick and sticky.
By far, the most sweet DIPA I have had. Not a bad beer, but not what I did expect.
