American Pale Ale (APA) |  5.10% ABV

Availability: Year-round

Notes/Commercial Description:
Our Pale Ale is a complex hybrid between a West-Coast Pale Ale and a British-Style Pale Ale. An abundance of Cascade Hops gives this beer a citrusy, floral nose. We use a high percentage of Caramel Malt to provide a stark contrast to the hoppy front palate, giving our pale ale a smooth, malty finish.

Served in a pint glass at the Union Brewhouse in Weymouth.

Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a pale yellow orange color with good vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Spotty lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.

Smell: Slight floral citrus and lemon hop aroma followed by toasted and pale malts.

Taste: Nice lemony and citrus flavor with bready, pale malts, and mild bitterness in the rear.

Mouthfeel: Smooth, light bodied, crisp, refreshing, medium carbonation, and a little chewy.

Overall: A nice blend between both sides om the pale ale style. Perfect for the summer time.

Great bubbly aroma and visual appearance and very crisp taste, however didn't excite me as much as I had hoped though it's flavor intrigued me to want to taste more of the flavor! I really respect a crisp taste on a beer even though it is not their most well known beer, so I will definitely try their stronger IPA next, good things expected. This one was a little disappointing especially living so close to the city
