This is a very good beer. It poured the hazy pale yellow with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent carries a gin like flare with touches of mild pine and hints of citrus. The taste has a great Czech pils base with a neat pine/gin twang. The mouthfeel is m3edium in body with good carbonation. Overall I am really enjoying this beer.

On draft at The Lark, East Northport, NY.

Poured a hazy straw hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.

The smell featured grassy herbal hops and a biscuity pils malt.

The flavor was round and delicate as it should be with a springy herbal hop and moderately chewy pils malt.

The mouthfeel was typical of the style with a gentle carbonation.

Overall a very well made and tasty pils.

Another fantastic release from Peak Organic up in Maine!

This beer pours beautifully, with a couple inches of thick but lacy foam. The appearance is a pale, sunny, yellow with a slight cloudy haze of goodness. The nose is pleasant. Slight biscuit and floral notes are present. The head remains intact and present as I drink this. Nice.

As a dry hopped pilsner, there is more initial bitterness than from your typical Czech style. But this beer remains very smooth and clean, the hop notes fade nicely into a tasty lager body. Slightly piney, Saaz hop hints. Did I mention it is smooth? Subtle fruit notes follow on the clean aftertaste.

Overall, I really enjoy this spring release. More complex than some of the traditional offerings in this style, courtesy of the dry hop process. But in spite of that it remains true to the crisp and clean pilsner style. Highly recommended.

There's a very earthy, grassy taste. It leaves a tingly feel on the tongue. There's a sugary candy taste, powdery grape. A very mild hoppy bite. It has a good taste, but there's a strange sugary undercurrent that cuts a bit much.

The color is a dull straw gold, semi-opaque, with a good foamy white head and some lacing. A bubble here and there. Very, very weed-like scent. Strong and lovely.

A: The beer is slightly hazy straw yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that gradually died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface, a collar around the edge and some lacing down the sides.
S: Moderate aromas of grassy hops are present in the nose along with faint hints of the underlying bready malts.
T: Much like the smell, flavors of grassy hops stand out in the taste and contribute a light to moderate amount of associated bitterness. The hints of bready malts are a bit stronger compared to the smell, but are still overshadowed by the hops.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer tasted a lot more like an ale than a lager and seemed like a hoppier version of an APA. It's not a bad choice if you like hops and want something that's lighter in body, but I found it unusual that it had lots of crispness for a lager, which seems unusual compared to some of the Imperial Pale Lagers that I've tried.
