Their Copper Canyon Alt is one of their signature offerings, as one could surmise by the name. A perfect brown in color, this has a thinner body than a typical brown ale, more in the direction of a traditional northern German Altbier it's supposed to be. There's a lovely roasted caramel nose, and lingering glass cling that measured the sips down the edge of the pint. The balance was exceptional with a clean, sweet barley finish as this was definitely one of their better offerings and a solid above average brew.

A fair offering at an Altbier. Poured out to a cloudy brownish orange color with a small head of foam. Little was noted in the aroma realm, but touches of mature and full malts were noted. Taste was fair, some dark malty and roasted nut flavors, and traces of raw sugar. Mouthfeel was kind of flat and a touch on the thick side. Drinkability is ok. Worth a try.

Deep amber in color with a small white head, as served. Rich toasted and caramel malt aroma with a hint of roasted corn nuts in the finish. The flavor is malty with some upfront bitterness and a lingering toffee-like sweetness. The body is okay, nothing noticably exciting or disappointing. This beer is okay to drink, but not one I'd order regularly.

A saccharine attack allows room for trace amounts of roast to peek through this reddish brown liquid. Cantaloupe acidity lends tang. This can be understood as a browner, maltier version of the Northwestern Gold. Impossible to place in either Duesseldorfer or Muenster Alt traditions -- unfortunate choice of names.

A little on the light side. Burgandy-amber in color with a smallish cream-colored head. A cakey, malty aroma mixes with the feel of day-old rainwater. Briefly sweet with very subtle hints of lemon peel. Well hopped finish lends balance. Aftertaste is a tiny bit lingering. Paired very well with our meal (BBQ chicken pizza). I had this at the recommendation of the gentleman who appeared to be the manager -- good suggestion.
