Shipyard Export Ale has a very thick, foamy, off-white head, and a hazy, yellow-golden appearance, with few streaming bubbles, yet lots of lacing rings left on the glass. The aroma is of strong, somewhat rank fruit and an odd sweetness. Flavor is of turned fruit, dates, strange sweetness, white bread, essentially no bitterness, and a shade of paper. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Shipyard Export Ale finishes wet and drinkable. This a weird beer with unusual flavor notes. It may not appeal to too many people.

Bottle poured into Pint glass.
1 finger head, creamy.
Smells almost like a lager at first then you notice the honey, biscuity.
First taste sweet honey, not very bitter, very mild hop.
Mild hop aftertaste.
All in all a good session brew.
