12 oz bottle in a Sierra Nevada imperial pint. Best Before J 11 notched.
Thanks to Onenote81 for knocking this off my wants!
A - I was one startled reviewer when this pumpkin ale poured a light-lager pale yellow straw color. Crystal clarity, it shows off the highly effervescent brew's carbonation rising to the loud and short-lived stark white head. No lace.
S - Bits of corn and husky straw fall behind a faded pumpkin spice aroma. Some nutmeg and cinnamon with mashed pumpkin. Borderline light-lager-like in aroma with a spike of pumpkin.
T - Heavy pumpkin mash and spice hits up front with a decent initial flavor but drops away due to a lack of backing malts. Honey sweetness that's almost cream ale in flavor finishes it out. It becomes cloying fairly quickly.
M - Extremely high carbonation resembles that of a college party beer and conjures up the same belching reaction. Light-bodied and spicy but finishing out with an artificial sweetness.
D - I was expecting an abomination from what I've heard about this beer but it wasn't that terrible. It's definitely a lot more light-lager-like as I kept saying and it certainly needs a lot more malt, but it would make for a fair early fall lawnmower refresher.
