Appearance - Bottle labelled as "Maine made ale" and "malt beverage with natural flavor added". Immediate loss of head and lacing. Lots of fizzing - reminded me of a soda.
Smell - This smells like a Libby's pumpkin pie.
Taste - This tastes much like the smell, pumpkin pie and that sums it up - maybe a little cinnamon and nutmeg, but the overall pumpkin pie taste conquers anything else. Not too much in the way of malt and definitely no hop.
Mouthfeel - Very light on the tongue, watery even and carbonation all over.
Overall - If you want a New England pumpkin/fall ale, this is probably not what you are looking for, but if you want a novel pumpkin pie drink to go with a meal, you should give this a whirl.
