[Suggested Glassware: Lager Glass]
The pour was a clear medium amber with a small (less than 1 finger) white frothy head, that reduced to a thin creamy film with good runny lacing.
The aroma was of a grain malt, floral hops and a moldy yeast with hints of caramel and citrus (lemon).
The taste was lightly sweet with a decent maltiness and a hint of caramel from the get go, becoming mildly hoppy with a slight citrus peel bitter at the end. The flavor hung around for an average time after the swallow with the light bitterness fading away slowly off the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was light in body with a dry yet creamy texture and a somewhat soft carbonation.
Overall this was a pretty basic Ale for the style, a tad light in flavor, a mildly thin body and just a bit of bitter to even it all out...

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Expiration date of Jan 2014. Sampled on August 8, 2013. I believe this beer is brewed by Shipyard exclusively for the Hannaford grocery store chain of New England (USA).
The pour is golden yellow with a short-lived fizzy white head and so-so clarity. It may be a chill haze as opposed to an unfiltered haze.
The aroma has your basic pale malts, mild sweetness, biscuit, and butter with clean crisp hops faintly in the background.
The body is light to medium.
The taste is not terribly bold but it has a refreshing mixture of pale malts, biscuits, and a dry low hop finish. This may be a knock-off version of Shipyard's Export Ale for a dollar less per six pack. It is not bad but nothing extraordinary.

From a 12 oz. bottle N 13
Has huge pleasant aroma of pale malts and slightly floral hops evolving to a gallantry presence
Mild malt almost lager feel to a taste that resounds and refreshes so nicely
Bright crystal dark blond color adequate carbonation
Nice head formation fizzles slowly to lace glass
Finishes clean and not detecting any diacetyl here that I find in Shipyard
Is it me or Waterfront using new or their own yeast
I like this beer and find it a great drinking brew and at 4.8% ABV can do many in a
Blond Ale like we make here Bro
