Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma-Has a nice smell of hops & malt.
Appearance- Has a clear amber color with a small white head.
Taste- The first flavor I noticed was butter, not bad but wasn't expecting it. The malt and hops came right after.
Palate- A medium bodied brew with moderate carbonation with a buttery texture.
Overall- A pretty good beer overall.

Darker than I would guess for a "blonde," in terms of color, anyway. More of an amber with a hint of reddish. Head was white, sparse big bubbles. Smell fairly minimal and taste followed: some nondescript malt, distinct hoppiness but nothing overwhelming. Mellowed and broadened a bit as it warmed. Drinkable but simply not remarkable. Brown bottle poured into a clear glass, stamped "BB.07.30.16"

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Expiration date of Jan 2014. Sampled on August 8, 2013. I believe this beer is brewed by Shipyard exclusively for the Hannaford grocery store chain of New England (USA).

The pour is golden yellow with a short-lived fizzy white head and so-so clarity. It may be a chill haze as opposed to an unfiltered haze.

The aroma has your basic pale malts, mild sweetness, biscuit, and butter with clean crisp hops faintly in the background.

The body is light to medium.

The taste is not terribly bold but it has a refreshing mixture of pale malts, biscuits, and a dry low hop finish. This may be a knock-off version of Shipyard's Export Ale for a dollar less per six pack. It is not bad but nothing extraordinary.

Appearance: Poured from 12oz screw cap bottle into pint glass. Beer pours a light amber. Clear with a central column of carbonation. A ring of off-white foam clings to the edge of the glass, a thin island of head covers about 80% of the surface.

Scent: Aroma is grassy with undertones of flowers and a hint of berry.

Flavor: Light biscuit and hay base. Gentle, indistinct bitterness follows quickly, and the finish is clean and dry. The ale drinks like a lager.

Mouthfeel: Moderate carbonation on a smooth and light-to-medium bodied.

This is a good looking, nice feeling brew that starts off well on the palate but is ruined by an aftertaste that makes me feel like I just bit into a nice, juicy cardboard box. Wish it finished better, because otherwise it would make a nice summertime brew.

From a 12 oz. bottle N 13
Has huge pleasant aroma of pale malts and slightly floral hops evolving to a gallantry presence
Mild malt almost lager feel to a taste that resounds and refreshes so nicely
Bright crystal dark blond color adequate carbonation
Nice head formation fizzles slowly to lace glass
Finishes clean and not detecting any diacetyl here that I find in Shipyard
Is it me or Waterfront using new or their own yeast
I like this beer and find it a great drinking brew and at 4.8% ABV can do many in a
Session
Blond Ale like we make here Bro
Up North Baby We Go
Best Regards
