Rouge with cornsilk puffy head that trails.
Soapy leaf nose with berry sweetness and some spice – saisony.
Bit of wheat, lots of saison pepper, autumn leaf, wood, some apple skin and tannins.
Medium, some chew, round.
Not sure what to make of an autumn version of a spring style. Saison phenols are there, but otherwise not much to style. A bit too sharp, too. Nice enough, but nothing worth chasing.

Bottle: Poured a dark deep reddish color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry fruits with some oak and some light tart notes is pretty unique and intriguing. Taste is a complex mix between some dry fruits and residual sugars notes with some tart notes with light oak notes also noticeable. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Quite unique and very complex but fell a little bit short on the balance side of things.

Sampled this at Bières & Saveurs in Chambly.
Body is the color of apple cider. Real nice floral bouquet in the aroma. Taste is sharp Amarillo mixed with herbs. A nice zesty feel makes this easy to drink. A hopped up saison but not overly so. Would love to do a side-by-side comparison with Lupulus.
