Like a fruitwine, On tap at Bar Volo. Reddish colour.Very smooth moutfeel, the pulp of the berry is featured. Cherryish, honey. Very decent drinkability. Not a sour than a tart fruit beer. It brings out the raspberry. I wonder what the regular raspberry saison is like.

Bottle: Poured a clear reddish color ale with a large bubbly head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of tart notes with oak and raspberry notes being clearly identifiable. Taste is a superbly well balanced mix between raspberry notes with some tart notes and oak with light vinous feel. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. This is quite an easy one to drink with loads of complexity. The barrel-aging notes are not that apparent but that is no big deal. I wonder why I keep on seeking those highly hyped sour when this is available near me and is probably as good if not better.

Thanks to seblp for this in my CANBIF 2014 box!
A: Slightly mirky with a warm glow of raspberry juice, topped with an impressive rocky and bubbly head, pale pink like a raspberry pillow.
S: Scent is fresh and light with fresh raspberries, grape skins, honey and yeasts. Dry tartness thats fresh and light.
T: Flavours follow the smell with tart raspberries, white grape skins, tannic woody notes, smooth at the end with an aftertaste that holds minerals on the palette.
M: Only a very slight hint of buzz from the carbonation with a very light and crisp mouth feel.
O: A very wine forward saison that would easily stand in for a wine spritzer. Especially enjoyable slightly more cool than I would normally drink my brew. The refreshing tartness of the raspberries and light crisp mouth feel lend itself to being enjoyed cold.
