Small store front liquor store next door to a Starbucks on the edge of Danbury. Reasonable selection of craft, although it has gotten less interesting over the years and their selection of singles has declined even more so. Friendly staff, but really more wine focused.

The wife and I are staying at a hotel right down the road from the shopping plaza where Warehouse is, so of course I had to check it out. Wasn't expecting much from the reviews here, but I was surprised.
Warehouse is indeed a warehouse, with the beer right as you enter past the front door. First comes the bomber shelf, with Allagash Curieux, Evil Twin Imperial Break, Founders Dissenter, Rogue and a bunch of Belgian brews.
After that, a long aisle of six- and four-packs, with lots of good stuff. Evil Twin Christmas Eve NYC, Yin, Yang, Love You with my Stout, Molotov and more... Founders (six types), Dogfish (eight), Sierra (eight, including Narwhal), Weyerbacher (Insanity!), Lagunitas, Flying Dog and more.
Besides the good selection, the prices are more than fair. I picked up some 2013 Ten Fidy for $14.99, while those Evil Twin imperial stouts are $12.99 and Narwhal is $9.49.
So why not? I say yes!

In a mid sized mall kind of area, just off of 84, with a starbucks and a Trader Joes as neighbors. Pretty typical Conn. wine and booze joint. Beer is given some space and respect, but it looks like wine is the main interest here. The suds are on the right as you enter, in a display straight ahead and along 3/4ths of the right side of the place. Also most of the rear coolers are beer dominated. Respectable options but NOTHING out of the middle of the road for the general area. Don't go for anything you wont find in a 1000 other places. Prices were decent with alot of items market on "sale", $8.99 for a sixer of Celebration for example. The two other Beer places in Danbury are more worthy, plain and simple.
revisit 12-15...selection is getting better and better...ample quality options have been greatly improved..more and more quality CT. local micro options......get your food at trader Joes, coffee at Starbucks and beer/booze here...makes for a worthy place to visit

The Warehouse Wine and Liqour Store (the sign on the store actually omits the Warehouse part of the name), is just off, and visible from, I-84, just over the border from New York. It is a relatively easy on and off, although the off ramp sent me in the wrong direction and I had to do a U-turn. It is located in the Danbury Green Shopping Center. The staff seemed friendly and the one fellow I spoke with was both informed and helpful. For those not familiar with CT (which I was/am), beer is sold in wine and liqour stores (in NY it is not, as far as I have experienced), so I have cluelessly driven past here many times.
When you first walk into the store, the craft/imports are along the right side of the store, and there are coolers in the rear. There was a very nice selection of belgians, while I didn't notice any that are not obtainable in NY (I could have easily overlooked something), there sure seemed to be a rather wide selection all in one place. Sadly, they did not have any Thomas Hooker in stock. According to the salesman they sell out of Hooker very fast, perhaps someone else will have better luck. I did pick up some nice Thomas Hardy's Ale 04@$5.50, as a consolation price. I saw the usual suspects: Magic Hat, Sam Adams (e.g., 05 Imperial Pilsner), Dogfish Head (e.g., WWS@ $9, Golden Shower@$10 and Fort@20), They also had offerings from ClipperCity, Yards (e.g., Washington's Porter) and Shipyard.
While not a destination to head to solely for the selection, as the offerings were not that unique (if Hooker was actually on the shelves, I would say otherwise), I would certainly recommend pulling off I-84, if you are not in a hurry (there is a tex-mex resturant next door, if you want to feed hungry travelers. If it is any good or costly, I do not know). Now that I know there is beer here in this building, with a possible sweet find, I will stop by on my way to and fro.
