Growler provided by Let's Pour, served chilled into a fluted tulip.
Pours a beautiful clear, sparkling bronze with an inch of airy white head that quickly recedes leaving moderate surface layer and lacing.
Aromas of grape must, leather and hints of citrus.
Tastes follow through the aroma with hints of overripe melon and a peppery funk more reminiscent of a saison.
Light to medium bodied and sweet but with a crisp dry finish and moderate carbonation.
Overall a very nice, sessionable beer, light but complex enough to be interesting. Taste wise I would put it more in the category of a saison, otherwise no real complaints.

Listed as a "Sour". Served in 10oz goblet. Pored a very attractive honey gold color, with over 1/2 inch of white head that had moderate retention and lacing.
The aroma was mostly solid grains, with just a light hint of sourness. On the tongue, the soft sourness had the front of the tongue, the grain took the middle, and there was a somewhat surprising sweet finish, that somehow was still dry.
The body was mostly medium, perhaps a bit fuller than your average "Wild" ale. Drinkability was too easy, a bit more sourness would have slowed consumption rate, and increased enjoyment. Overall, no real flaws with this brew, but nothing particularly notable either. It's good to see a WA brewery trying new things, so it's probably worth a shot if you see it.
