Pours a clear light gold, straw-colored at the edges. A massive white head forms immediately, several times the size of the poured beer, and stays for ages. Lacing is thick, sticky, and clumpy, this isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Smells of grapefruit, and a hint of pine. Enticing.

Tastes of golden raisins, grapefruit, and oak. Fairly smooth, with just a hint of hops bite at the end.

Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth as silk. Just enough carbonation to keep it from feeling syrupy, this is wonderful stuff.

And wow!
Just realized it was only 5.25%! That's a *lot* of flavor something this low in ABV, and it's definitely sessionable. I'd have a pitcher this at a restaurant with dinner without hesitation!

A: Amberish, mostly opaque appearance. Small head.

S: Caramel, malt, and a bit of a sea breeze finish, if that makes sense.

T: Less hops, more malt-forward approach. Floral notes are there, but it's subdued compared to malt and barley.

M: Warm with mild carbonation. Medium body that fits the 5.25% ABV.

O: Easy, drinkable IPA that meets the expectations of its moderate ABV. Nothing you'd shout from the rooftops about, but it's enjoyable any time of day or night.

A - Hazy slightly yellow honey color. Nice head retention. Good lacing

S - citrus and pine hops smell, but equally as strong clean somewhat grassy wheat smell.

T - Hops are bitter without much other flavor unfortunately. Grassy flavor as well. I'm not sure about the freshness of this one and can't find a date on the bottle.

M - Average

O - Not impressed with this one, I love IPAs and love a really bitter beer, but I also want the flavors of the hops to come through and they just don't in this one. Something about this just doesn't taste fresh either though, so that may be what is turning me off on this one. I'm going to give this a 3 and may update this review if I have a chance to try it again. If it taste the same next time I may give it a lower rating, but if my freshness theory holds true it could go up.

Poured from a 650 ml bottle. Pours and orangish amber colour. Subtle notes of mint, pine and and lemon on the nose. Taste is much deeper, earthy and resonant. Very bitter for a small beer. Huge bitter bite on the finish. More of an Old World IPA with its earthy, malty notes.
